Associate Project Manager - India

Wisteria, a growing and dynamic catalog of antiques and decorative items for the home and garden, is searching for an energetic, professional, and dedicated person to become Associate Project Manager for the design/development team. As a member of the company’s management team, the Associate Project Manager works with the company’s design and Branding team to develop potential products, provide estimated product cost, evaluate project construction and input on the risks of the project. The Associate Project Manager must have experience in managing multiple projects. Have a very diverse range of responsibilities. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be a master at scheduling their time, and a creative problem solver.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage multiple development projects concurrently
  • Work directly with Sr Project Manager on each step of development process
  • Maintain project list of all current developments. This list is to hold financial information needed for each upcoming catalog
  • Maintain database with all development projects
  • Execute appropriate development time lines for projects
  • Establish and build strong relationships with vendors through consistent communication
  • Excellent communication skills with all departments, BMT members, and vendors.
  • Proofread upcoming catalogs for accuracy on product exclusivity, product materials, manufacturing processes, etc
  • Attend monthly BMT meetings. Responsible for taking thorough notes which will be reviewed post-BMT with design team
  • Review and approve development samples and packaging requirements
  • Negotiate costing and MOQs on all developments
  • Maintain new item binders for upcoming catalogs
  • Attend new item binder handoffs and walk throughs with Merchandising and Creative

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and dates.
  • Ability to be flexible within the limitations of the design process.
  • Experienced user of all Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to think creatively and juggle many tasks and personalities at once.
  • Strategic and independent thinking, planning, and follow-up skills.
  • Understanding of both Mac and PC platforms.
  • Self-motivated and decisive.
  • Detail oriented with creative problem solving skills.
  • Ability to execute under accelerated timeframes.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change in priorities.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere
