Associate Product Manager

Wisteria, a growing and dynamic catalog, website and retail store of antiques and decorative items for the home and garden, is searching for an energetic, professional, and dedicated Associate Product Manager. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, communication skills. The Associate Product Manager is responsible for helping the Product Managers with their assigned manufacturers to ensure that the highest quality merchandise is made and delivered to our warehouse in a timely manner, keeping customer returns to a minimum. Position reports directly to the Product Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Competitive shopping and product research through related websites, blogs, magazines, etc
  • Purchase orders management. Create and track new orders
  • Establish quality control standards for new products. Work with manufacturers and inspector teams to assure quality control standards are met
  • Perform product testing as needed
  • Track and manage product quality during the production process via vendor communication
  • Ensure timely and effective factory inspections by inspector teams
  • Track and manage production and delivery schedule of products for model stock calculation
  • Assist with compiling pertinent information for products. This includes, but is not limited to, FOB costs, dimensions, packaging information, shipping costs, production time, QC standards, care instructions, assembly instructions, Kit and component information etc
  • Assure all samples are ordered and arrive at our warehouse in a timely manner
  • Interface with travel teams to prepare and recap international trips
  • Assist in proofing upcoming catalogs
  • Interface with design/development team during creative process of in-house designs/developments

  • Experienced user of all Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word.

  • Ability to execute under accelerated timeframes.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change in priorities.
